Along the banks of the Shrewsbury River, and only 4 miles from the Atlantic Ocean, Little Silver is about 40 miles south of New York.

The Little Silver school district enrolls students ranging from Kindergarten through 8th grade.  Students attend Point Road School for grades K-4, and Markham Place School for grades 4-8.  High School students attend Red Bank Regional High School.  Private schooling is available at neighboring Red Bank Catholic.
